Treasury and Investment Management Analyst

Treasury and Investment Management Analyst (Hybrid)

Noblis is seeking a Treasury and Investment Management Analyst focusing on treasury investment management, retirement program management, and corporate finance operations reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations and working with various teams within Noblis and with external partners such as investment management firms and banks.

Job Responsibilities:

Treasury Investment Management:

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on investment performance and investment risk of the underlying investments in the strategic reserve portfolio
  • Researching and analyzing multiple asset classes and investment strategies in public markets, including recommendations for strategic asset allocation and/or tactical asset allocation
  • Coordinating Treasury operations as needed, including annual audit with vendor, trade reconciliations, portfolio rebalancing, cash movements, and funding of investments

Retirement Program / Defined Contribution Plan Management:

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting investment performance and risk of underlying investments in the Retirement Program
  • Complying with IRS and DOL requirements, including annual audit/tax reporting and annual compliance testing
  • Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on Retirement Program operational elements in support of internal compliance standards and Retirement Committee Charter, including producing quarterly and/or annual analysis reports

Hybrid Position - The candidate is required to come into the office in Reston. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, major in finance or accounting preferred with 5 years of related experience OR Master's degree, major in finance or accounting preferred with 3 years of related experience.
  • Relevant experience with multi-asset class institutional investment, preferably as an analyst for either a plan sponsor/asset owner or an investment consulting firm.
  • Completion of Level I CFA Program.
  • Microsoft Office applications, intermediate Excel skills

Desired Qualifications

  • CFA Charter-holder.
  • Retirement Program administration and operations
  • Morningstar Direct, or similar investment analytics software
  • Critical thinking skills and analytical skills
  • Organizational skills and/or project management skills

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
