Payroll Specialist | Finance | London

Your new role
Our new Payroll seat will join our Finance team of four Colleagues here in London office. With currently one other Payroll Specialist supporting international offices, this new position will help and support overseeing and actioning an A-Z payroll function, working across the Finance department and the Fund internationally.
The role requires hands-on payroll experience, handling in-depth queries and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, in London and New York offices.

Your new role

These duties will include:
- Managing and maintaining payroll processing, supporting an end-to-end function (including starters, movers, leavers, and third parties)
- Facilitate reporting on payroll updates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, according to obligations.
- Create and review payroll reporting to and from the third part vendor.
- Handle A-Z questions on salary changes, tax codes, pension contributions, global mobility, and other payroll queries.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure necessary payroll data has been acquired.
- Suggest payroll improvements process where needed and advise this to senior stakeholders.
- Engage with third party providers to maintain the highest quality of service delivery.
- Work closely with the global payroll and finance team, in London and Australia.

What you'll need

- Significant experience working on UK payroll systems.
- Experience working in small to medium size team and/or organization with manual payroll processes.
- US payroll exposure is a plus, and an expected development opportunity within the role.
- Proven track record in all aspects of full cycle payroll processing
- Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant payroll, pension, benefits regulation, and legislation internationally.
- Excellent track record with ERP systems (Oracle and ADP experience are a plus)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and accounting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoys setting priorities and working to deadlines.
- Relevant degree/qualifications within finance/accounting.
