Senior Manager within Custody Tax Operations department, responsible for managing 3-6 operational teams of 20-40 FTE, responsible for delivery of Withholding Tax matters across 25 markets for all Citi Custody Tax Service Clients globally.

Responsibilities:
  • This role will manage projects and processing related to Custody Tax events;
  • These activities include revisions of documentation, notifications and facilitating postings for Tax events
  • Responsible for managing strategic and tactical projects related to: market changes, business initiatives, delivering operational efficiency targets
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo; initiating and leading/sponsoring programs aimed at process efficiency
  • Build key relationships within all levels of the organization including Tax Product, Corporate Tax, Tax Liaison, Tax Projects, Tax Documentation, Tax Client Service, branch Network Management, Tax Technology, global/regional heads/leads of (sub)functions
  • Monitor project status and communicate effectively to key stakeholder project members, of any associated risks to the project

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience; Masters Degree Preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant Experience, including at least 5 years in managerial roles; with at least 3 years on managerial position within area of Custody/Asset Servicing Operations is a must
  • Senior level experience in a related role
  • Commensurate people management experience
  • Good track record of role key success factors
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
