JOB PURPOSE

JOB PURPOSE
To assist Head of Banking Book to source and manage Banking Book assets in the FVOCI/AC/FVTPL portfolio to meet the net income and capital gain as per T&M budget/Business Plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To meet targeted portfolio income (Net Interest Income & Non-Interest Income);
- To perform the daily routine Treasury operational job functions diligently;
- To perform the regulatory reporting accurately and in a timely manner;
- To monitor and ensure the compliance of the regulatory requirements;
- To monitor the Financial markets daily and perform analysis to support the decision-making process;
- Tradable products:
- 1) Fixed Income (Government Securities & Corporate Bonds and Sukuk)
- 2) MYR & Non-MYR bonds
- To carry out all the relevant routine task in order to smoothen the department daily functions;
- To provide updates on the portfolio snapshot and market movement;
- To perform any other related duties that Management may require.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's degree and/or professional qualification in Economic, Mathematic, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
- Fresh graduate or total of 2-3 or more years of relevant experience at an established financial institution.
- PKMC qualification preferred.
- Possess strong analytical skills and good knowledge in computing skill
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders.
