Your role
Are you innovative and result driven? Do you enjoy working in a global and fast-paced and dynamic environment working across multiple and diverse culture? Do you know how to drive efficiency into the business management process? We're looking for someone like that who can:
• Support the Execution Services (ExS) EMEA COO team to maintain an effective control environment for the EMEA ExS business
• Partner with the Electronic Trading desk across all elements of the business, including but not limited to, control reviews, financials tracking, risk assessments
• Strengthen the operational resiliency of the Execution Services business by promoting digitalization, encouraging collaboration and cultivating an innovative mindset that challenges the status quo
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks, adhering to regulatory and operational risk standards
• Partner with team members and other COO teams, both locally and globally, to manage implementation of key projects and initiatives including business driven changes, and regulatory, audit and risk remediation activities
• Coordinate with supporting units (incl. Operations, Legal, Compliance & Operation Risk, Finance, Group Internal Audit and other stakeholders) to maintain a robust front-to-back control environment
Your team
You'll be based in Krakow and be part of the EMEA Execution Services COO team. Our team focuses on ensuring that the business operates effectively to manage risks, maximise profits while being compliant with regulations, policies and procedures
As part of the IB COO Function, your team are collectively responsible for a broad portfolio of activities centered around acting as a strategic enabler to the business, overseeing the integrity of the front to back control environment, track, challenge and implement good governance throughout the F2B of the business.

Your expertise
• Strong English communication (oral and written), presentation and organizational
• Ideally 4+ years of experience working within the financial industry, ideally in a business manager role
• Degree in Finance, Mathematics or similar field
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and team members across all areas
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in facing off to people at all levels of seniority; good at building a network of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions and within the business management team
• Ability to understand new issues and processes quickly and determine priorities and solutions based on business need and benefit
• Excellent analytical skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to adapt to a quickly changing environment and deal with ambiguity
• Strong focus, drive and commitment and track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard
Preferred:
• prior experience in a Business Management function or a logistics or control function within an Investment Bank
• understanding of Cash Equities
• strong leadership skills as well as several years of experience with a people management/ line manager deputy responsibility
You are:
• experienced in delivering against milestones on a timely basis and to a high standard running under limited supervision
• comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• able to balance the importance of a medium/long term portfolio against the urgency of day to day demands
• Able to add value and challenge conversations across a multitude of topics every day
