We are looking for a highly skilled Payment Transaction Specialist to join our client, a prestigious Swiss private bank. This role involves handling and clarifying payment transactions with internal departments and financial institutions, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will process incoming and outgoing payments, manage check collections, and provide expert support to internal departments and customer service teams. This position requires occasional work on public holidays in rotation with team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate payment transaction clarifications with internal departments, domestic banks, and foreign banks.
- Process international customer payments, including incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Manage check collections, credit card, and Maestro card transactions.
- Advise internal departments and customer service representatives in Switzerland and internationally on payment transactions, checks, and card processing.
- Provide substitute support at the Basel cash desk on a rotating schedule with team colleagues.
- Participate in a holiday rotation, with availability to work 1-2 public holidays per year as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualifications.
- In-depth industry knowledge in payment transactions and related banking processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Avaloq system knowledge is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer-oriented mindset with fast, structured working methods.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex information and identify interconnections.
- High attention to quality and responsibility, with a continuous learning attitude and motivation.
- Proficiency in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
