Major Projects Finance Lead
Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading global business based in Bath, to recruit a Major Projects Finance Lead.
The Role
My client is growing rapidly with an increasing global portfolio of projects, and this role will monitor and report on financial performance of the largest projects across the organisation.
Leading a small team, you will provide strong financial reporting and strategic support in the financial management of global projects, including strategic development, operational performance and organisational efficiency. You will analyse trend variances, interpreting and communicating results, and support the Project review process including loss / WIP provisions and revenue adjustments for all major projects.
You will also partner closely with operational Project Managers, ensuring strong project governance and assessing risk and proposing solutions.
The Person
This is a broad and exciting role with the opportunity to have a real impact, and to be considered for this role you will need to be a Qualified Accountant with significant experience in project accounting on large and complex projects, including business partnering across various global teams.
You will need excellent stakeholder management skills gained within a global organisation, and strong financial and systems knowledge.
Experience of working in Construction / Engineering / Professional Services would be advantageous, and you will be a creative thinker and problem solver, with a proactive mindset.
