Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced QA/SDET Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data testing, with expertise in Selenium and Database ETL testing.
- The Testing Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure data quality and integrity across our data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated tests for data pipelines using Selenium and other testing frameworks
- Test ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to identify testing requirements
- Create and maintain testing documentation and reports
- Troubleshoot and debug data issues found during testing
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in data testing, with a focus on Selenium and Database ETL testing
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or PyUnit
- Knowledge of database management systems such as Snowflake , MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure/AWS
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with agile testing methodologies
- Certification in testing or data engineering
