Our business partner is a newly set-up foreign bank that is seeking a dealer within the treasury department to achieve the function's business and regulatory objectives.

Your new role

As a key member of the bank, you will have the below key responsibilities:

  • Responsible to cover positions in line with approved currencies and products. Buy, sell, borrow and lend currencies at profitable rates.
  • Access to the swap market to achieve lower funding costs.
  • Reduce the volatility and enhance the funding ability.
  • Maintain adequate liquidity in compliance with the Liquidity Coverage Ratio ("LCR") or Liquidity Maintenance Ratio ("LMR") requirement.
  • Monitor liquidity mismatches structure and cash flow management.  Monitor utilisation of dealing limits. Namely, counter-party credit limits, FX open position limits and FX stop loss limits.
  • Suggest changes in dealing limits and currencies the Branch is involved.
  • Point out new risks to the Asset and Liability Committee.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will have relevant knowledge of the specialist area in liquidity risk and funding risk control, with at least 4 years of experience of Money Market and FX positions covering. Treasury dealing experience in banks will be required. A tertiary degree coupled with proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
