About this role
As an integral member of the Brisbane Corporate Tax team, you will deliver integrated advice to private business owners, family groups and high-net worth (HNW) clients that considers the unique dynamics of such businesses.

You'll also contribute to the learning and development of our graduates and associates as one of Australia's leading graduate employers, as well as provide technical training sessions and coaching / mentoring other team members as required.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored technical income tax advice
- Client relationship management and assistance with compliance of related party loans, tax planning and structuring advice
- Manage tax compliance and governance frameworks for large client groups, including those that feature sizeable trusts
- Assist dynamic clients undertaking transactions
- Advise on business structuring and tax due diligence
- Advise on and address tax issues affecting cross-border investments and structures
- Assist with revenue office submissions, reviews and audits
- Provide tax advisory support to the wider Grant Thornton team and other professionals, including members of our Affinity network
Skills and experience
- Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
- Significant relevant experience in a professional services environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate and present technical advice to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent stakeholder management, written and spoken communication skills, with an interest in developing strong client relationships
- A willingness and ability to provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced team members
