Position Summary:

• Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment.
• Collaborate with end users, project stakeholders and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models.
• Design Spotfire reports using in-Memory, In-DB, OnDemand or hybrid approach to provide a scalable and efficient reports.
• Repoint the BOBJ universe connection in IDT, replace the objects and perform integrity check, update custom SQLs and Free Hand SQLs to snowflake Queries, Convert PHD to PI queries and link the variables in the visualization.
• Tune data views, design information, calculated columns, custom extensions and Spotfire application for efficient performance.
• Perform Spotfire Upgrade, fresh Installation and apply hotfix.
• Support BOBJ upgrade validation.
• Build Power BI datasets, reports and publish User, Group and License Management.
• Server Performance and Health monitoring.
• Ingestion of data sources using stream sets, DMS tools, Transformation using DBT into Snowflake, downstream usage using BOBJ, Spotfire and Denodo.

Mandatory Skills:

• System/Data analysis with 10+ years of experience in designing and developing ETL and visualization solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of system and server-side functionalities.
• Data acquisition and manipulations skills in SQL-compliant or other data sources.
• Knowledge in different configurations of servers.
• 4+ years of experience in utilizing iron python script, JavaScript, documents scripts to meet complex business requirements.
• Follow implementation standards.
• Make use of scheduled updates / automation services to provide best possible performance.
• 18+ years of experience with Data Warehousing and BI solutions.
• Understanding of Mining industry concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in leading offshore teams and managing deliveries.
• Knowledge of visualization tools - Spotfire, BOBJ, Power BI, PI vision.
• Knowledge of ETL/transformation tools - Stream sets, DMS, BODS, OGG and IIB.
• Working with multiple databases - Oracle, Sql server, PI, Denodo, and Snowflake.
• Understands how Server works and interacts with other components and how data flows within different components.
• Understanding of AWS/Azure, Windows/Linux servers and settings, networks, databases, and other IT infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up Snowflake database in AWS for data analysis by doing the ingestion using multiple ingestion tools like Stream sets, DMS, etc.
• Build a Quality assured layer for downstream application usage.
• Create conformed/transformed data layer using DBT for analytics and decision making for end business teams.
• Convert the ETL, report queries using PHD produces to directly use PI systems by setting up Asset Framework server for PHD tags.
• Remediate existing cybersecurity risk by doing penetration testing and Vulnerability tests.
• Information model creation, Data connections building using multiple sources like Oracle, Snowflake, SQL server, PI, etc. and Advanced Reporting & Performance Optimization Experience.
• BOBJ universe update using IDT and integrity check.
• Design & build the data logic, information data model and interfaces for Spotfire dashboards Data Source Configuration and Maintenance.
• Design front end applications using Spotfire, BOBJ, Power BI.
• Assist in UAT and fix issues if any and implement changes to production using Change request process.
• Enable the monitoring of applications by setting up Splunk monitoring and Montecarlo.
• Setup configuration items from source to application to track the lineage for any impact analysis.
• Follow the Transition to Operations Check list and complete the agreement to Operate and Record of Handover.

Salary Range: >$100,000
