Position Summary

Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and superannuation fund creation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of year end financial statements for various companies and trusts ranging from those listed on the ASX to small family owned businesses;
• Compliance with regulatory standards and preparing reports in line with the Australian accounting and auditing standards;
• Preparation of income tax returns, FBT returns, GST returns, BAS; and
• Superannuation Fund creation, Superannuation Fund compliance and Superannuation wealth creation and pension strategies.
• Preparation and lodgment of income tax returns for individuals and business
• Proficient use of accounting and reporting software

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

• Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (ideally a Business Commerce with an Accounting Major)

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

• At least two years experience in a related field
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable

• Previous work experience in Professional Services

Salary guide : $70,000-$80,000 exclusive of superannuation
