How you'll make an impact

The Product management team will lead and drive the management of the Bank's existing deposit and lending products, putting customer needs at the heart of products and delivering target returns to shareholders, through risk-based pricing and product management, whilst managing the Bank's products in line with risk appetite and associated credit risk limits.

This role will assist in ensuring AMP Bank has the optimal mortgage and deposit product features and pricing to meet its growth targets and overall strategy. The role includes assisting with product strategy, pricing, continuous improvement and operational execution.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Continual monitoring of volumes and competitor movements to ensure in line with expectations and propose repricing as required or assist in repricing proposals.
  • Support the Lending & Everyday Banking Product Managers with the execution of the product strategy
  • Assist with managing the bank's portfolio of home lending and everyday banking products and features
  • Assistance with building and maintaining pricing and forecasting models
  • Process improvement and uplift of documentation
  • Assist product managers with working with treasury, deposit product team and finance to provide input of mortgage volumes and pricing for the 3-year Bank strategic plan. Continual updating of the strategic plan to reflect updated actual experience.
  • Assist in the management of customer complaints relating to pricing or product features for home lending products.
  • Working closely with the Customer Experience and Operations teams, strive for excellence the end-to-end home lending banking experience for AMP customers.
  • Work with Marketing at both a planning and execution level for various home lending initiatives

What you will bring to the team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (advanced excel)
  • Developing insights and automation using data (working with Power BI preferable)
  • Experience in Financial Services/Banking
  • Product Management in a Bank, ADI or specialist banking service provider
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems
  • Tertiary qualification
