Senior Underwriter Credit & Political Risk

I am currently hiring for a Senior Credit & Political Risk Underwriter. Writing a large and diversified book of global business, the company has a book north of $100 million, primarily in credit, but with expansion into multilateral and the ability to write complex derivatives. The central management team have a strong pedigree in the class and provide strong support for the growth of the class. We are open to candidates who may be from a bank, insurer, or broker but Underwriting experience with a preference for those from an insurance background. The target is to grow the book and expand the knowledge base in specific regions. The role is based in London, with opportunity to travel to other offices if needed. The company looks at esoteric risks and structured transactions and project finance is a key growth area.
