THE OPPORTUNITY

Mitchell Anthony Capital Management ("MACM"), an Irvine based Portfolio Management firm, has an opportunity for a Senior Equity Large Cap Growth Analyst to join our team. The position pays a six figure base salary plus a substantial bonus of 0 -100% of salary. All in compensation in a good year for the firm and measurable contribution from analyst would be 200-500k. FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AT A GROWTH SHOP REQUIRED. DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT EXPERIENCE

 

MACM is an independent Registered Investment Advisor with $350 MM in assets under management. The firm manages 3 different strategies across 350 relationships in a pooled manner. The firm is focused on creating alpha and sells index beating results. While the firm is not a hedge fund the firm manages its client accounts in a hedge fund like manner with accounts pooled together for management purposes to simplify and focus the firm on just three strategies and three pools of capital. The firm charges fees that are profit based and/or asset based.. A skilled Senior Analyst/Trader will have the ability to thrive in this environment, with the potential to make a meaningful impact on portfolio strategies and to earn significant income.

 

JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Analyst will provide Quantitative and Qualitative research to the Chief Investment Officer and collaborate and manage the investment team. The candidate will be directly responsible for all of the firms equity trading. This involves trade allocations and custodian communications. Candidate will also perform tasks in support of MACM’s investment process. Where applicable, the candidate will work to optimize quantitative & qualitative research to streamline and improve our research process.

The Senior Analyst will be an ambitious individual who has the ability to work with minimal direction and thrive in small-office environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is excited about the prospect of growing their career alongside a growing firm. The candidate will be intuitive, detail oriented, organized, and understand the extreme importance of their research work and how it fits into the success of the firm’s performance. The candidate must be thoughtful and have the ability to work carefully and diligently.
