Corporate Accountant - Hedge Fund

Our client is a global hedge fund who is looking for an financial accountant to lead the corporate accounting function for the region, based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include:

• Recording, reviewing and maintaining the general ledger accounting; expenses, receiveables and balance sheet accounts.
• Using local and regional GAAP accounting principles.
• Overseeing month end close and supporting audit function
• Contributing to process enhancements and best practice within the firm
• Budgeting, reporting, analysis and adhoc projects

The ideal candidate will likely have 5 to 8 years experience, big 4 training and accounting software; excel and/or Oracle. Experience within an accounting team working in a global Alternative Investments or Asset management firm would be ideal. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English required.
