Morgan McKinley is looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative with a Forklift License and a high level of motivation.

We are looking for a Permanent Senior Warehouse Operative with Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and a strong communicator, keen to expand their knowledge and skills while contributing to the business during a time of exciting growth.

Length - Permanent

Salary - £26,000 - £28,000k DOE

Location - Crawley

Must have Counterbalance Forklift License

DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Receive and check deliveries, reporting issues.
  • Ensure driver paperwork is signed, dated, and filed.
  • Safely operate forklifts for loading/unloading goods.
  • Manually load/unload goods, following handling regulations.
  • Monitor warehouse emails and act promptly.
  • Plan for peak deliveries and assist with warehouse organisation.
  • Identify hazardous goods and liaise with supply chain.
  • Pick, pack, and advise on appropriate packing.
  • Perform de-tagging, labelling, repacking, and consolidation as needed.
  • Handle general warehouse/building maintenance.
  • Keep daily records of goods in/out.
  • Manage ad-hoc collections and deliveries.
  • Monitor warehouse consumable stock levels and request supplies.
  • Coordinate to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure timely shipment of goods by liaising with Supply Chain.

PROFILE

To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Skilled in booking goods using digital systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Experienced in loading shipping containers.
  • Valid counterbalance forklift license.
  • Committed to maintaining health and safety.
  • Proficient in manual handling and heavy lifting.
  • Able to build and break pallets.
  • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
