Job Description
The Chubb Global Services (CGS) group focuses on delivering superior clients services to Chubb's multinational business across Chubb's diverse product line. The CGS Finance group has overarching responsibility for global money movement, billing and collections of reinsurance and deductibles, reporting and overall multinational guidance and strategy.
Reporting Relationship:
The role will work with existing settlement staff and report to Chubb Global Services Manager of the Assumed Settlement process. The individual will communicate directly with internal management and Chubb offices throughout the world to resolve issues and provide ad hoc support when requested.
***This role operates on a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and must sit in our Wilmington, DE office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage intercompany bordereau transactions between Chubb international affiliates.
- Review; reconcile premium and loss data from international partners (Affiliates, TPAs, and Network Partners) to the local sub ledger. Address discrepancies with international staff when necessary.
- Interact with global finance staff to ensure entities are adequately funded and payable/receivable balances are settled within specified timeframe.
- Monitor and log large cash movements to/from affiliates to local entity.
- Perform subledger journal entries and account reconciliation to ensure proper accounting.
- Assist with Third Party Loss Recovery process: work with clients to resolve issues, post payments, offset and reconcile accounts.
- Utilize technology to drive process improvements.
- Design and generate analytics, performance indicators and maintain monthly reporting.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial controls to keep the business unit compliant with SOX standards and local laws.
- Play a key role in ad-hoc requests and special projects.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Business Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related subject.
- 0 to 3 years insurance industry, accounts payable and/ or treasury experience.
- Excellent communications skills, as well as demonstrated ability to persuade, negotiate and interface with various global partners.
- Effective problem solving and analytical ability.
- Ability to work effectively on a team to understand, develop and refine financial and operational processes.
- Demonstrates individual commitment to quality, independence, and organization.
- Knowledge and utilization of Microsoft products (Excel, Visio, Access, etc).
- Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
