What Does an Average Day Look Like?
Here is an idea of what you can expect to do as a New Business Development Manager (WA):
- Drive acquisition of new merchant partnerships.
- Ability to commercialize and activate new merchant partnerships.
- Identify and generate leads for the acquisition of new retailers.
- Leveraging industry research, existing networks, cold calling, attending meetings, conducting presentations, and attending Conferences.
- Meeting with and obtaining information from potential new merchant partnerships in all areas of Western Australia
- Preparing customer proposals and negotiating key commercial terms with proposed retailers.
- Structuring and pricing proposals for new deals.
- Work with Account Managers and Operations Teams to ensure that deals are processed efficiently and integrated.

We are looking for someone who brings:
- Proven success exceeding KPIs and targets in a new business sales environment, preferably B2B2C
- A track record as a self-starter who thrives working autonomously and would enjoy being on the road meeting with new prospects to humm
- Amazing customer engagement, along with an easy approach to doing business
- Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence key areas with both external and internal stakeholders
- Experience in dealing with financial products such as BNPL and long-term interest free products would be viewed attractively, but cultural fit and a winning attitude is the most important pre-requisite
