- Travelex operates a vertically integrated business model, sourcing and supplying foreign currency and providing payment solutions through many distribution channels. Already contributing significantly to the Group's profitability, future growth potential remains high through optimising existing relationships and winning significant new contracts.
- Responsibility for providing commercial finance support to the Commercial Director, Finance Director, Business Leads, and Senior Finance Governance & Control Manager. This includes completing financial modelling, business cases, delivering local market insights, supporting the 3 Year Plan process, and providing ad hoc reporting.
- Engaging with key business stakeholders, providing advice, business partnering and commercial guidance, and ensuring the business is meeting its goals and objectives. The retail, business solutions and support and enabling functions will benefit from the monthly analysis, management reporting, insightful commentary, and ad hoc commercial decision support.
- Proactively seeks opportunities, providing recommendations and assisting in implementing changes that improve the profitability of the business. This will be achieved through a combination of engaging with the business stakeholders, understanding key business drivers, and monitoring market trends.
- The custodian of commercial reporting, ensuring the business is receiving accurate, timely and relevant information in a consumable format. This responsibility will require strong relationship management and influencing skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders both locally and abroad.

accountabilities
Providing commercial insight and business partnership to add value through:
- Provide commercial finance support to the ANZ Stakeholders. This includes completing financial modelling, delivering local market insights, supporting the relevant business planning processes, and providing ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of reporting and dashboard solutions to provide key business intelligence and analytics capabilities.
- Be able to navigate data sources - such as converting raw data into meaningful and actionable insights to gathering qualitative information from stakeholders.
- Support, influence and challenge business decisions with data and provide timely & insightful analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate the requirements into meaningful outputs and reports.
- Ensure credibility and accuracy of reporting.
- Assist Senior Finance Governance & Control Manager ANZ to improve the quality and format of information/report provided.
- Prepare and provide monthly commercial reporting packs across the business functions.
- Assessment of trading trends to determine business performance.
- Ad hoc commercial finance support as required.

Role-specific
experience and
skills
- Degree qualification with experience in a similar Commercial Finance Analyst role
- The role requires a range of technical, commercial, and reporting skills, with an ability to facilitate discussions, develop initiatives, and operate effectively to drive performance.
- Exposure working with data extraction systems (such as data cubes) - familiarity with Business Objects, OLAP cubes and SAP. A system savvy individual who is highly capable in excel and BIMI / Quicksight platforms.
- Have experience of Retail data analysis, data modelling and data integration
- Be comfortable working with ambiguity and having the ability to define and problem solve by using available data and making reasonable assumptions.
- Have excellent communication and relationship building skills from stakeholders up to executive level
