Job Description
We're recruiting for aPayroll Implementation SME to join us. You will support the current functionality across the Payroll systems and assist in enhancing the ways of working alongside the System Managers and Implementation subject matter expert. Undertaking testing requirements and system checks to ensure accuracy, resilience and process optimisation. All supporting the agreed service levels, aligning to CS quality standards, regulatory requirements and L&Gs polices. You will also assist the payroll systems manager as a technical subject matter expert with projects that are related to, or impact payroll. Ensuring that there is minimal impact to service because of changes and that the payroll team are appraised of changes and fully prepared. What you'll be doing:

Job Description
We're recruiting for aPayroll Implementation SME to join us. Ensuring that there is minimal impact to service because of changes and that the payroll team are appraised of changes and fully prepared. What you'll be doing:
- Developing the existing payment process/systems to accommodate ongoing changes/new customer requirements, facilitating the specification of business change requirements to payroll systems liaising with the appropriate change agents
- Ensuring appropriate user testing and monitoring the implementation of changes to payroll systems, communicating changes to all stakeholders to ensure accuracy, the continuation of payments and customer service
- Providing expert technical support to internal customers, recommending solutions to complex payment problems
- Authorising and actioning Intellipay access requests as appropriate across all environments (Live, Preprod, Test/Development).
- Project Support - (system, process, regulatory) supporting the delivery of business implementation activities such as changes to process within CSS, managing their impact on the customer and the end to end process
- Operations Delivery - supporting the delivery of the Annuity and Regular Payment Payroll services setting and ensuring that exacting standards of quality, process/systems, operational controls, communications, and customer experience are met
- Undertaking appropriate project work as required. Supporting all projects that impact the systems and processes owned or impacting Customer Payments, ensuring the correct change management process is followed and there is no negative impact to service as a result of any change
- Consumer Duty- Ensuring that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day-to-day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times. Ensuring that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk
- Ensuring no impact on service or projects, working closely with the payroll team to determine best outcomes for the customers and Retail Annuities

- Project delivery methodology, In-depth knowledge of payroll processes with the relevant systems. Knowledge of the end to end processes and how things fit together.
- Pensions payroll legislation
- Implementing payroll systems.
- Analysis and interpretation of financial and technical payroll data for reconciliation and query resolution
- Testing in a formal project environment
- Problem solving and decision making
- Planning/Organisation of payroll duties
- Excel
