Job Summary
The Financial Regulatory Reporting Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting the regulatory reporting team by ensuring organized capture, tracking, and reporting of the team's various deliverables and requests. This individual will also be responsible for delivering project updates to both internal stakeholders (i.e steerco meetings) as well as external stakeholders (i.e. regulators). Assist with meeting coordination, minutes and tracking/resolution of meeting action items. Assist in the development and project planning related to the team's strategic initiatives. The Financial Regulatory Reporting Senior Project Manager will communicate on a cross functional basis, inside and outside of Finance, with senior management and must be able to communicate complex matters in a clear, concise manner while keeping the big picture in perspective.

Pay Range: $99,731.70 - $132,144.50 - $164,557.30

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect, track and report on requests both received and sent by the regulatory reporting team for all stakeholders whether internal or external (e.g. RRQA, Internal Audit, Federal Reserve Board, internal data providers etc).
  • Assist the Director of Regulatory Reporting and Associate Directors of Regulatory Reporting in monitoring current project milestones for the initial regulatory reporting implementation, and further support the creation and implementation of a project plan to manage and guide the team's strategic initiatives on a go-forward basis.
  • Develop and deliver periodic executive status reporting as needed.
  • Manage the execution of the team's attestation and sign-off procedures by coordinating the distribution and collection of necessary forms from upstream business owners.
  • Assist the regulatory reporting team with meeting management including scheduling, minutes, and action item follow up.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent).
  • Minimum experience required: 10+ Years of previous experience in regulatory reporting or related fields within financial services.
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) Regulatory Reporting experience preferred.

Job Competencies:
  • Comprehensive project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry, with the ability to translate regulatory guidelines into actionable project plans and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant project management software applications, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting functions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders across the organization, fostering effective collaboration and alignment.
