Primarily this role will support the local leadership across the spectrum of fund accounting and segregated accounts. This will include but not be limited to.
  • Reconcile cash positions, extensive reconcilliations experience will be required.
  • Drawdown and Liquidity management
  • Research and resolve discrepancies
  • Process trades and other end of the day (EOD) procedures
  • Review and enhance currency hedges
  • Calculate, review and present monthly performance figures to senior leadership as well as compiling and delivering monthly reports
  • Perform turnover/fee calculations
  • Assist with information for marketing presentations, for Investor relations as well as RFPs, and DDQs
  • Respond to specific client information requests
  • Work on long-term projects within the group and Firm-wide to improve efficiency and transparency
  • Work on international and cross-department projects with other colleagues within the Firm across the local Dublin and EMEA offices.
  • Occasional interaction with the US(New York) office will be required.

Key experience required
  • Demonstrable work experience in a similar investment/fund accounting role at an asset management firm, experience from a third party administrator will be considered but an in-house role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of asset management, RIAs, and fixed income financial products
    • Public Debt funds (UCITS and 40 Act)
    • Knowledge of and experience with bank loans and derivatives a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Excel up to VBA level would be beneficial but isnt required.
  • Qualified Accountant ideally, but will consider non qualified if extensive experience in the field.
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
