Work Pattern: Hybrid working arrangement requiring 2+ days per week in the City of London Head Office and 3 days Remote

Job Purpose:

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of insurance-related documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all required transactions and communications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact regarding insurance markets, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Address client inquiries and issues related to invoices, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Process insurance market collection, sanctions check preparations, invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate entry of related data into the company's financial and operational systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on insurance markets collections and sanctions checking results, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Credit Controller and other team members to streamline financial and operational processes.
  • Support other tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the O&F team.


Experience/Skills:
  • Prior Insurance Market experience is advantageous
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workloads under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong documentation skills with a high attention to detail
  • A good team player who can also work from own initiative
  • IT/Computer literacy
  • Excellent numerical skills and the ability to examine data critically to extract commercial and actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be self-driven, pro-active, well organised and display strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate in a highly multidisciplinary and collaborative environment where effective exchange of knowledge between peers is crucial.
