Job Purpose
Financial Derivatives role within ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) responsible for surveillance operations and investigations across multiple asset classes including: Oil, Natural Gas, Soft Commodities, Fixed Income, Equities and Environmentals. In this role, the Market Regulation Analyst will support the team in ensuring IFEU and its Members satisfy their regulatory obligations, with particular regard to position maintenance and reporting, and the calculation of the ICE Brent Index. The analyst will be proficient in writing reports and have a keen aptitude for research.

Job Purpose

In this role, the Market Regulation Analyst will support the team in ensuring IFEU and its Members satisfy their regulatory obligations, with particular regard to position maintenance and reporting, and the calculation of the ICE Brent Index. Responsibilities
- Issue correspondence to Member firms and ensure cases are managed in a timely manner
- Assisting with the calculation and publication of the ICE Brent Index
- Assisting with the review and publication of open interest and Exchange position reporting
- Providing support in the lead up to contract expirations, ensuring Members are adhering to IFEU expiry and delivery limits
- Preparing Commitment of Traders reports for publication
- Coordinating internal and external meetings
- Providing excellent customer service, responding to Member and market participant telephone and email enquiries
- Issuing routine enquiry correspondence and otherwise assisting with Exchange investigations in relation to suspected instances of rule breaches
- Undertake ad-hoc project work
Knowledge and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (Finance/Mathematics/Economics/Law/Engineering/Science or similar)
- Strong IT literacy skills
- Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting effectively at all levels
- Proficient at identifying problems and working efficiently to resolve
- Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and to deadlines
