The role is responsible for supporting the Company expense management, processing and closing. The role reports to Leads, Finance Operations. The expectation of the team is accurate, efficient and timely processing of payment/reconciliation/closing/cashflow forecast while ensuring all financial operations are in compliant with relevant policies, statutory and regulatory requirement/guideline. Generally, the team is also expected to continuously seek and formulate strategy for efficiency, productive, and effective processing risk control of the complex multi-layer of business rule against system design and stay aligned with all governing rules. It is the team's esteemed responsibility to alert the management of any potential issue and risk that could potentially impact the company unfavorably in the scope of duties.

Job Description:
- Supporting Treasury and Disbursement functions on daily processing of vendor and staff related payouts, reconciliation, checks and balances, commission and incentives payouts, banks processing, daily cash flow management.
- Monthly/Quarterly provisions/accruals and various reconciliations (e.g. balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations etc.)
- Fixed Asset Maintenance
- Monthly expense allocation and Analysis
- Monthly General Ledger closing
- Actively look to improve the workflow and processes with a view of minimizing control weakness whilst improving efficiency and ensuring accuracy of critical outputs
- Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Support the maintenance of various systems (e.g. expense coding, FP&A tools)
- Alert management of any processing risks and propose remediation.
Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personality Traits
- Familiar with payment processing eg vendor and staff payouts, commission payouts etc
- Digital savvy that enjoys building operations model
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timeline
- High personal levels of motivation and delivery orientated focus
- Good communication skills, thus ability to liaise and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Preferably with some knowledge of SUN accounting system
Work experience
- At least 4 years in Finance Operations function in financial industry
- Background, experience and knowledge of insurance industry and insurance accounting
Education
- Accounting Diploma/Degree holder
- Business Admin with at least 5 years of experience in Expense Management
