Job Description
As a member of the FP&A team, the director will be involved in all aspects of BPG's Private Funds portfolio financial analysis, reviewing and supporting the preparation and maintenance of a wide array of analytical reporting, modelling and presentations. This dynamic position requires extensive collaboration across various business units across Brookfield, including Asset Management, Investor Relations and Finance and Operation teams within BPG and at the portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review quarterly valuation and performance results of the private funds and ensure that they are reported in line with policies and guidelines
• Review annual business plans of the private fund investments
• Create and maintain private fund models
• Prepare quarterly Real Estate Private Funds track records
• Prepare monthly reporting including liquidity position and FX/hedge analysis of the private funds
Perform and manage ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting required by senior management or other groups
• Drive enhancements and improvements to valuations and reporting processes and use of technology
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7-10 years of Finance experience
• Real Estate FP&A experience required
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience in iLevel, Anaplan, and PowerBI is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to details
• Ability to effectively organize time, work and resources to accomplish objectives in an efficient way
• Ability to think outside of the status quo and find innovative ways to improve or understand a process
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Salary Range: $ 160,000-180,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
