Fund Operations Officer (5-months Maternity Cover)

Overview

Our client is one of the leading asset management firms in Hong Kong. They are looking for a skilled

Fund Operations Officer to cover a maternity leave for a 5-month period. You will work directly under the Chief Operating Officer of the firm and have the opportunity to oversee all aspects of fund operations including reconciliation, settlement and more.

Job duties :

• Review and optimize operations workflow under the guidance of the COO.
• Ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Risk and Compliance team on operational issues.
• Prepare routine operational reports as needed.
• Coordinate with custodians to ensure accurate and timely placement of investment orders.
• Participate in system enhancement projects and ad-hoc exercises.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support related to asset management operations.
• Handle ad-hoc inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding fund operations.

Job requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields.
• 3 to 5 years of fund administration experience preferably in the asset management industry.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA is necessary.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and tackle challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
