Job duties:
- Supervise the entire bond trading cycle, managing communication, booking, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement procedures.
- Guarantee the prompt and effective processing of daily transactions to facilitate seamless settlements.
- Monitor and manage cash flows in custodian accounts, investigating any discrepancies that may arise.
- Offer suggestions for process enhancements to optimize transaction processing and settlement efficacy.
- Stay updated on industry-specific special events and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies for all deal bookings, payments, and confirmations.
- Perform secondary validation checks to ensure precision.
- Engage with clients and counterparts regarding confirmations, matching, and settlement issues.
- Proactively address breaks and discrepancies in system platforms.
- 5+ years of experience in bond settlement.
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese.
- Team player with a strong sense of urgency.
