Accounting Officer (Beijing)

ING Bank covers Wholesale and Retail Banking in Asia Pacific. Our Wholesale Banking business is present and active in 11 major economies in the Asia Pacific, namely Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To perform financial key controls (e.g. reconciliations, suspense accounts) surrounding the general ledger
• To process financial events (e.g. accruals, journals)
• To prepare local regulatory, tax and internal reports/surveys
• To assist in the response to the regulators on enquiries relating to reports and/or surveys
• To prepare weekly vendor payments and staff claim reimbursements including fapiao verifications
• Ad hoc jobs assigned
• Back up for other China team members when necessary

We are looking for (key competencies and qualifications)

• University degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• Working experience at foreign banks
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Accounting
• Fluent communication skills with strong command in both spoken and written English
• Competences: problem analysis, teamwork, oral skills, performance motivation, time management
