In this role, you will support the Financial Planning and Analysis team by collaborating closely with senior leaders, including the Head of Financial Analysis & Management Accounts and Finance Business Partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing strategic management information to facilitate informed decision-making.
Assisting in the forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with the university's strategic objectives.
Reporting on research grants and financial performance metrics.
Maintaining accurate and organized financial data, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Utilizing Excel and other analytical tools to produce insightful reports and analyses.
Supporting the Finance department in maximizing efficiency and reducing manual processes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in management reporting and financial analysis.
Strong data analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Experience with Agresso or similar financial management systems is advantageous.
