We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, ALM.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the ALM model and lead the User Acceptance Test (UAT)
- Support annual Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) reviews and TAA assessment
- Review the assessment results of Economic Capital (EC), IFRS17 CSM & PBT and local statutory solvency
- Production of regular Group ALM risk Management Information (MI) report for Global Insurance ALCO
- Production of regular real world economic scenarios for ALM purpose
- Analysis of asset and liability data for ALM and hedging strategies
- Participate in the implementation of ALM initiatives, management information (MI), capital optimisation and strategic projects
- Perform cashflow projection and stress test to better understand liquidity risk of different investment initiatives on the balance sheet
- Support model governance required by Group Model Risk policy
- 4-8 years experience in insurance companies or consultancy firms
- Near qualified or qualified actuary
- Strong influencing and communication skills and an ability to work with international and virtual teams
- Prior ALM experience and familiarity with SunGuard Asset Liabilities Stochastic (ALS) model
- Knowledge of IFRS17 reporting, CROSS II, Singapore or Hong Kong local regulatory solvency requirement
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including ability to "think outside the box"
- Fluent in English
