We're looking for an Accountant Specialist to join our ever evolving Segment Accounting team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team:

Our Finance team uses their eye for detail and expertise to take us to the next level. As we move at pace, they keep us on track for reaching our shared goals. We are looking for a Qualified accountant to join us.

What you'll own

• Financial control of net revenue activity for WorldPay - specific ownership for FX & Gateway (WPG) revenue.
• Monthly management accounts for business partners, FP&A teams in London, USA as well as local markets.
• Communicate on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge, specifically on FX & WPG
• SOX control framework for FX & Gateway Fee's. Facilitate delivery and audit of revenue segment for multiple global entities
• Support on highly complex FX & WPG projects
• Produce analytical review pack's for the purpose of internal and external review.

What you bring

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures
• Qualified, QBE ( so previous FC, AFC, FBP, Management Accountant), 5 years+ experience
• Ability to create and handle complex datasets & spreadsheets.
• Skills in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving
• Proactive attitude, investigating issues, delivering suggestion's and solutions
• Demonstrate ability to Identifies non-routine issues and routes/escalates to appropriate team member. ( non std accounting role, project work, solution design)
• Experience of working in a face paced demanding environment in the tech, fintech or service industry where financials, control's & processes are based on data and not physical product
• Basic knowledge of SOX control environment
• Ability to work with non financial teams ( IT, operations etc) at all level's in analysing financial situations, through business partnering

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience of working within a global or shared service finance function.
• Recent experience of working in a financial control function
