Key Accountabilities
Support performance management : Work with Business Directors to monitor BU performance and outcomes. In particular, the person in this role would:
Devise and roll out templates and formats for providing business information to the MD that all Business Directors s would then use - e.g. for weekly information reporting to Managing Director, monthly call with Strategic Business Group (SBG) CEOs, Executive & SBG KPIs, Consolidate the information and from the BDs and/ or other functions such as finance. Analyse information - including deal information when required - and provide insight to others in the SBG. Review and finalise consolidated information from the BDs
SBG presentations : Hold the pen on the writing of materials that the SBG is required to produce. Some important examples:
Coordinate the authorship of the BU messaging for external reporting, and Board presentation. Get inputs from the BDs and turn this into well written, coherent and convincing documents, including getting more information from BDs, Group Finance and other sources as needed. Draft scripts, documents and speeches for MD including but not limited to Board, GEC, Agency, BU presentations Review key BU documents destined for the Board (e.g. BU Board presentations)
Support SBG CoS with key SBG management activities : This will include:
planning and executing major SBG events; Manage agenda for meetings such as the monthly CEO meeting.
Track major SBG actions and ensure delivery to timelines

Minimum requirements: (Qualifications and Experience)
- Minimum 12 years of work experience
- Ideally have experience in Strategy team or Financial Planning & Analysis
- Proven track record of dealing with senior management
Key Attributes
- Excellent command of English, and ability to write documents intended for the highest levels of the organization
- Ability to understand insurance financial metrics and quickly draw insights
- Excellent organization skills and ability to keep track of several complex tasks at once.
- Strong in communication, presentation, business acumen
- Ability of work strategically and collaboration with other individuals within the SBG and other functions
