The candidate will be a member of the Valuation and Analytics team which is responsible to help determine the assertion of values reported by State Street Corporation is materially accurate and meets ASC Topic 820 requirements. The candidate will work with key managers with subject matter expertise to gain a broad understanding of State Street's Portfolio and FX businesses including verifying the accuracy and integrity of the fair value of financial assets through the Independent Price Verification (IPV) process ,month end and quarter end close for these products.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
• Assist with IPV Independent price validation and re-pricing of securities and FX
. Assist with Reconciliation and verification of pre and post portfolio management transition reports
• Perform and prepare various back-testing and analytical reports
. Assist for audit samples for SOX and External auditors.
• Assist in Product Control verifying market rates and closing prices, including off-market reporting
• Utilize key analytical tools to conduct verification analysis (i.e. Bloomberg and Reuters)
• Work with internal partners (middle office, front office, and CMA) and external vendors to investigate pricing variances
• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) coordination and testing
• Assist in other projects as directed by manager
--Monthly close activities for FX and Investment Portfolio

Skillsets required :
- Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics
- 2-5 years related work experience
- Securities knowledge preferred
- Bloomberg/Thomas Reuter's/Intex experience will be added advantage
- Strong analytical and excel skills required
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop process maps
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Direct experience with Product Control/Market knowledge preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
- Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple levels of management
- Complex problem solving expertise
- Deadline focused with ability to adapt under pressure
- High degree of attention to detail and focus on error-free execution
