Opportunity to join Group Treasury who are a small team that operates as a highly collaborative, multi-disciplined unit. Seeking candidates with growth mindset, initiative, resilience and drive to grow and develop in this specialised discipline.
Group Treasury's primary responsibilities include managing capital, funding, liquidity and non-traded interest rate risk positions for Bendigo & Adelaide Bank's c.$100 billion balance sheet in accordance with Board risk appetite and relevant internal policies.
Reporting to the Head of Treasury Operations, the Manager Treasury Operations is responsible for assisting to ensure that all Treasury operational activities are managed in a timely, effective and transparent manner. This will involve direct responsibility for certain operational activities (described in the position description) and the provision of operational advice to other teams within Treasury.

- 4+ years relevant experience at major Australian and/or multi-national banks in Treasury, financial risk management, settlements and/or risk oversight roles.
- Detailed understanding of Treasury operations, banking book systems, financial data, financial market products and regulatory environment.
- a strong work ethic with a proven ability to show initiative, manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Skilled in building highly collaborative, strong working relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user and knowledge of emerging technologies
- Greater emphasis will be placed on relevant on the job experience than formal qualifications, however, bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Business, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Actuarial would be viewed favourably - but are not considered pre-requisites.
