The Opportunity
The Head of Finance Partnering and Planning, Business plays a crucial role in leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for specific Lines of Business and making informed decision-making to support growth and operational efficiency.
Your new role
In this critical role, working for the General Manager of Financial Performance, you will advise business leaders on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will also take overall responsibility for the strategic planning process, forecasting and analysis of business performance and supporting strategic course correction. Key accountabilities include:

The Opportunity
The Head of Finance Partnering and Planning, Business plays a crucial role in leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for specific Lines of Business and making informed decision-making to support growth and operational efficiency.
Your new role
In this critical role, working for the General Manager of Financial Performance, you will advise business leaders on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will also take overall responsibility for the strategic planning process, forecasting and analysis of business performance and supporting strategic course correction. Key accountabilities include:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies for the Line of Business, optimising plans and forecasts in response to market trends and cost analysis, while driving process efficiencies to improve profitability, cash flow, and service delivery within budget.
- Coordinate the FP&A team for high-quality, timely service delivery, while promoting process consistency and a customer-centric approach.
- Provide strong leadership and motivate the team to align with business strategy and build accountability to meet stakeholder expectations and support team development and performance
- Monitor changes in the industry and formulate an opinion on the impact of these changes on the existing operating model and make recommendations for change to the ANZO CFO, and/or other stakeholders
- Comply with the regulatory and statutory requirements for external reporting through external review, audit process and compliance procedures and ensure in line with GAAP standards.
- Manage relationships with GSSC FP&A Lead and other stakeholders (e.g., Divisional CFOs) and ensuring clear roles between business partners and FP&A support.
- Engage external networks and represent the company in industry forums to drive best practices and stakeholder satisfaction.
About you
To be successful in this role you will come from a similar "Head of" role, with a solid background in the Financial Services or Insurance industry. You will have extensive Finance Partnering experience and you will also have:
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
- Knowledge of Financial systems, budgeting and planning, and reporting technologies and tools
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, supported by an ability to identify the key issues and business drivers behind the numbers
- Deep knowledge of FP&A processes with strong understanding of accounting principles with the ability to interpret Financial Statements
