What the day will look like

Collections
  • Prepares monthly detailed AR as reference of collection and sending of payment reminder to Intercompany Counterparts/Clients/Insurers.
  • Follow up status of those accounts paid directly and with collection advice to Insurers/Carriers.
  • Requests status of accounts with unsubmitted 2307 certificate to Insurer as well as the unpaid variances due to credit memo.
  • Prepares collection forms and payments advice for Direct and Regular accounts.
  • Coordinates with Insurers/Carriers for pick-up of payments.

Reconciliation
  • Assists clients/ insurers in reconciling of accounts if there are discrepancies.
  • Checks Intercompany, Insurer's/Provider's AR records vs. Aon's AR, monthly.
  • Coordinates with Insurers/Providers on the discrepancies of client's payables.
  • Coordinates with BUs on the discrepancies and reminds them for unbooked transactions.
  • Ensures escalation of accounts with issues and concerns to Team Leaders.

Posting of Fee/Commission/NA and other activities
  • Reconciles all Fees/Commissions/NA collections prior to posting of payment.
  • Requests status of unbooked Fee/Comm/NA from Account Management Team
  • Prepares schedule of unapplied commission payments from various Insurers prior to posting.
  • Reconciles AR variances to Internal and External clients.
  • Follow up payment updates and verify details/invoices for schedules of commission, payment deposits and Cash on account from brokers.
  • Prepares request of Intercompany payables.
  • Meeting with different Brokers Unit Department and Insurers
  • Provided feedback on queries of internal and external clients.

Month End Closing
  • Prepares summary for application of COA, CN to DN, unapplied withholding tax, minimal balances.
  • Ensures posting remittances and withholding tax.
  • Prepares journal entry adjustments such as COA/wtax application, CN to DN, offsetting of intercompany AR/AP.
  • Review and validate expected provision for the month.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Candidates with an undergraduate degree (graduate of any 4 - year course)
  • Experience working in an insurance, financial services, or management consulting will be viewed advantageously
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate resilience; the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Personable and able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
