The opportunity
Our Audit Quality and Transformation team plays a vital role in supporting our Audit Quality and Simplification Programme. As an Quality and Transformation Senior Manager you will contribute to a growing team supporting our most complex and challenging audits through real-time coaching and will contribute to our purpose of building a better working world through transforming our audit process in positive ways, improve experience for all our employees by embracing new technologies, finding ways to spur collaboration and ways of working, in order to deliver the additional assurance to our stakeholders in an efficient and cost-effective way.

Ideally, you'll also have
Financial Services experience, with strong sector knowledge in one of the following: banking and capital markets, wealth and asset management or insurance and pensions.

Your key responsibilities
- Participate in developing new enablements, simplification efforts, centralizing our service delivery model and leveraging the power of our digital tools and solutions to empover our employees to work efficiently and improve audit quality.
- Supporting audit teams in continuing to price audits appropriately, providing challenge, coaching and financial oversight
- Examining audit delivery models, by performing deep dives on individual engagements to drive efficiency, share best practice and work with leadership to drive higher margins.
- Provide direct coaching and review support to the highest-profile engagements selected for AQST review within your industry expertise
- Perform risk-based scoping through engagement with the audit team
- Challenge the effectiveness and articulation of the audit strategy
- Review the execution of the audit work and identify areas for improvement
Skills and attributes for success
- Exemplary technical skills regarding auditing standards and their practical application, including experience in audit reporting matters
- Proactive communicator, quick to engage with audit quality leadership
- Innovative mindset, focussed on ways to improve delivery of AQST reviews and provide the most value to audit teams
- Ability to lead and influence peers and lead teams remotely
- Strict and organised project manager
- Proactive communication and deadline management, both with the audit team and audit quality leadership
To qualify for the role you must have
- ACA/ CA/ ACCA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification
- Strong project management and technical (auditing) skills
- Significant experience with large public & complex audits
- Strong focus on and passion for audit quality and coaching/reviewing teams
- Skilled in MS Office applications
