An exceptional opportunity for a Tax expert to establish a fulfilling, progressive and challenging career with our rapidly growing Research and Development (R&D) tax team.
Our team support companies in filing R&D tax credit claims and applying for cash grants which were introduced by the government to encourage UK companies to invest in innovation.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who has an interest in Research and Development Tax and is looking to enhance their skills and knowledge with a leading practice. You might be someone with a background in corporate tax or finance that is looking to widen their skill set and have broader client exposure.

Your key responsibilities
- To contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of R&D tax services to the client
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Build relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectations
- Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
- Assist with the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
Your experience
- Qualified or part qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/ATT/CTA
- 3 years experience working in corporate or R&D Tax
- Corporate or R&D Tax experience
- Excel capability including use of XLOOKUP, IF functions and pivot tables, including manipulating large and complex datasets
- Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards
- Relationship management skills with ability to manage client expectations and build effective relationships at all levels
- Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically
