Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our global Internal Audit function.

A role you will love

As a Senior Internal Auditor you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory related audits in accordance with the group annual audit plan.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of audits across various business lines and shared service functions. You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects and initiatives focusing on continual enhancement of the Internal Audit function.

Key responsibilities:
  • Contributing to risk-based audit planning that is focussed on protecting and enhancing the value of the businesses of Computershare and its clients.
  • Delivering high quality, well controlled, independent and objective audit execution, supported by comprehensive audit files.
  • Effective audit program management to ensure the timely delivery of audit plans and mitigation of delivery obstacles.
  • Communicating effectively and confidently throughout the business with regional business heads and line management.
  • Managing compliance with Computershare global policies, procedures and processes, including the Internal Audit methodology.

What will you bring to the role?

We are seeking a proactive and driven individual who possesses solid foundation in auditing and / or risk and compliance. You will need to be able to work in a complex global financial services group, so experience in similar financial organisations is welcomed.

You will also need to have exceptional stakeholder management skills, coupled with a mindset that will allow you to work with people from all different backgrounds, locations, and levels.

Some other key skills that you'll have:
  • Experience of all aspects of internal audit disciplines in terms of processes, procedures, systems, theories and practices.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape
  • Experience of Compliance management, Risk Management and Quality Assurance
  • Experience of partnering with business stakeholders, with the ability to work with a range of colleagues in the organisation
  • Experience of analysing internal and external data, making appropriate recommendations
  • Qualifications such as: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent. Alternatively, if you are working towards such qualifications we would like to here from you.
