Job Description
How will I help?
You will have end to end responsibility for planning, managing and delivering the program of work related to the Financial Crime portfolio. You will interact directly with senior business and risk management stakeholders in the portfolio, and represent Group Audit at relevant senior management committees and forums.

How will I help?
You will have end to end responsibility for planning, managing and delivering the program of work related to the Financial Crime portfolio. You will interact directly with senior business and risk management stakeholders in the portfolio, and represent Group Audit at relevant senior management committees and forums.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining the audit risk assessment and risk-based audit plan for the relevant portfolio, and for executing the associated audit plan ensuring engagement quality, raising the issues that matter, and developing strong stakeholder relationships whilst maintaining independence.
- Leading the execution of audits for the relevant LoB, personally executing complex review activities or testing that requires higher levels of judgement and expertise.
- Lead the socialisation of all audit outcome messages for the portfolio with Senior Stakeholders up to GM and at times GE level
- Ensuring that appropriate remediation testing is performed by Group Audit once audit issues have been addressed by Management
- Producing required reporting to relevant forums
- Continuous maintenance of the audit universe for the Financial Crime portfolio, including determining the risk and control effectiveness ratings

What do I need?
- Undergraduate degree and relevant graduate degree or professional qualification (including information technology, business, accounting and finance).
- Chartered Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor preferred.
- Financial Crime qualification including Certified Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist (CAMS) or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience including in risk management
- Subject matter expertise (SME), or Audit Experience in Financial Crime areas: AML/CTF, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption or FATCA / CRS
