Senior Financial Accountant

Global company providing execution and clearing services for traded derivatives and commodities. London based. Hybrid working.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is a mix of financial reporting and management accounting and covers a range of responsibilities. Working in a team of 5, you will be responsible for the:

• Management of the day to day financial operations
• Daily and monthly reporting of financial management information (P&Ls, financial resources, liquidity etc.)
• Preparation and distribution of comprehensive analysis of the company's financial performance (relative to comparable historical periods, budget, and forecast)
• Providing qualitative commentary on business trends, on a timely basis and assisting in the production of financial reports to the Board as required.
• FCA regulatory reports
• Preparation of statutory, fiscal and regulatory filings in a timely manner
• Assist in the Corporate tax and VAT return submission
• Maintain and enhance the Company's finance policies
• Oversight of two junior accountants

Profile

Qualified in ACA, CIMA or ACCA

Financial Services or Big Four Audit Experience highly desirable

Strong technical financial reporting skills

Budgeting and forecasting

Desire to learn and interest in the derivatives market
