Purpose Of Role
You will be primarily responsible for the daily, monthly and annual reporting functions to support AEOI client services for current FATCA and CRS due-diligence and reporting obligations within specific regulatory deadlines and according to best practice operations.
As a senior leader in the Tax Services Department, you will also work closely with the Ireland tax leadership to lead the wider tax delivery team, working on various projects as required from time to time, work to improve employee engagement and other initiatives as expected in a senior management role.
Core Responsibilities
Leadership
Foster strong working relationships with colleagues in TA, Tax and other departments across locations to deliver AEOI Services to clients in line with local regulatory obligations.
Work to ensure excellence in client service as it relates to AEOI Client Servicing and Corporate AEOI obligations.
Identify efficiencies and improvements in processes and controls, and work with Senior Management and peers across the organization to implement enhancements.
Make sound operational decisions including, but not limited to, work priorities, risks and controls in the delivery of AEOI Services to clients and.
Contribute to the development of the organisation in terms of department strategy and service offerings.
Assist more senior colleagues across tax when required to do so and deputise in their absence.
Client Relationship
Work with the AEOI Vice President and other Tax and TA Management teams to ensure that all clients are satisfied with the service received from AEOI Tax (rated 'green'), and that improvement plans are in place for those clients expressing dissatisfaction (rated 'amber' or 'red').
Ensure your team is aware of and adheres to policies and procedures and client specific requirements so that a professional and high quality service is provided at all times.
Ensure an effective operating model is in place for clients that are serviced across multiple locations.
Risk & Regulatory
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for AEOI FATCA and CRS as it relates to annual reporting
Be familiar with and understand local regulatory requirements in relation to AEOI FATCA and CRS as they affect new client set up, on-going client maintenance, and de-registrations and closure of funds.
Ensure your team's compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements in relation to information security, anti-fraud and other areas as defined from time to time.
Contribute to an effective risk management framework across the department. Ensure you and your team complies with controls and escalates issues and concerns proactively and timely.
Ensure appropriate procedures are in place for your team to meet internal control and external compliance/regulatory requirements.
Facilitate internal and external Tax authority audits and ensure all sampling and management input is provided on a timely basis. Ensure items identified by auditors are addressed on time.
Communication
Ensure active and effective communication tools are in place within your team facilitating communication up and down the organization.
Ensure all communication with clients is accurate, clear and concise and delivered in a professional manner, whether written or verbal.
Attend and contribute to operational, client, risk, audit and regulatory meetings as required.
Prepare reports for clients or Senior Management on incidents, proposals or other areas as required.
Change Management
Create an environment that is flexible and adaptable and be a champion of change.
Initiate and oversee tasks within a continuous improvement drive to ensure that the Department is efficient and seen as customer and quality driven.
Ongoing review of current practices and procedures with a view of identifying and implementing efficiencies.

Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Industry and tax qualifications are a strong asset.
- Excellent people-management, operations management, communication and organisational skills
- The candidate must be able to take ownership of initiatives or projects and be able to influence others in working groups.
- Experience in working in an environment with a strong focus on risk excellence.
- Advanced PC literacy including: PowerPoint, MS Office, Outlook
