BRIEF DESCRIPTION / OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Remittance Processing Team! Experience with the material is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train up the right individual. Eagerness to learn and attention to detail are a must. This is a position is in a quick paced, growing department. You will have the opportunity to help with a variety of accounts to best serve our clients. We encourage career development and opportunities are available upon satisfactory assessment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Processing employee and employer contributions to retirement accounts that are received via check or ACH and remitting them to various financial institutions.
- Researching remittance issues, finding solutions, and providing answers to other departments, employers, and vendors.
- Monitoring and responding to department emails.
- Updating websites to reflect current payroll change dates for employers.
- Assist in mailing checks to vendors and participants.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :
- Preferred experience in the fields of payroll processing, accounting, or finance.
- Proven experience in the areas of customer service, strong communication skills (verbal & written) and willingness to learn.
- Preferred knowledge of retirement accounts: 403(b), 457(b), 401(k), 401(a), FICA Alternative.
- College Degree or comparable industry experience.
- Preferred advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- General knowledge of computer applications - Microsoft Word, Gmail, Adobe Acrobat.
- Highly skilled at time management and prioritization of responsibilities.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and working accurately with numbers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
- Data entry experience.
JOB CLASSIFICATION & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
- Job Classification: Full-Time
- Base Salary/ Wage: $18/hour
- $500 sign on bonus
- Position hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
