Overview
This position performs daily bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative duties to support the Accounting function of the Bank. Reviews financial transactions, prepares reports, and monitors accounting activity both manually and through the technical accounting system. Processes financial statements and data to provide resolution to customer requests. Assists in special projects, audits, and other accounting initiatives as needed.

Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Audit, or Financial. OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Audit, or Financial.
License or Certification Type: null nullSkill(s): Basic understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities
- Processing - Reviews and processes financial transactions such as invoices, expense reports, and journals. Enters data into financial systems to aid accounting efforts of the work group.
- Operational Support - Performs a number of administrative tasks to research and address customer inquiries. Resolves exceptions within the Bank's policies and recommends adjustments as necessary.
- System Support - Assists with system changes and testing including upgrades, troubleshooting, and new system searches. Partners with other business units to accomplish these tasks.
- Accounting Knowledge - Develops an understanding of the internal control program and associated functions in order to support associates, customers, and managers. Utilizes knowledge of accounting regulations and policies to ensure compliance in all activities.
