Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the AI team to develop and refine machine learning models that address complex tax-related challenges faced by financial services clients.
- Contribute to the creation of AI proofs of concept (POCs), demonstrating the practical applications and benefits of AI in the financial services sector.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into broader service offerings, enhancing the value delivered to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data science and AI.
- Support client engagements, providing technical expertise and insights to inform decision-making and strategy.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning model development/LLM application development.
- Familiar with frameworks and GenAI tools including LangChain, AutoGen, OpenAI and Ollama
- Formal training and hands-on experience in data science, including the use of relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL and JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of AI strategy design and the development lifecycle.
- Ideally, a background in technology with additional experience of accounting or mathematics with the ability to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve complex problems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data science/developer role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Experience with accounting principles and financial data is highly desirable.
