The opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team. In this role, you will be exposed to a varied client base across a wide range of industries, giving you the chance to broaden your technical knowledge and skillset in a supportive team with guidance from Directors.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating Audit engagements ensuring key deliverables are met.
- Maintaining engagement letter and auditor's report templates
- Mentoring junior staff on the team.
- Providing recommendations to clients after understanding and assessing internal controls.
- Develop and maintain credible working relationships with key client decision makers.
- Technical review of modified audit reports and key audit matters
About you:
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar client facing role ideally in a Top 10 practice
- Relevant tertiary degree and membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA)
- Thorough understanding & application of Australian auditing and accounting standards
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Highly collaborative approach, a team player!
