Job Description:

Job description
  • 1) to support major initiatives driven by Corporate: implementation of Ariba source-to-pay to support B-10 TPRM requirements; implementation of Kyriba to replace existing payment platform, and possibly for cash management
    2) to support BU initiatives in exploring possibilities of cutting back on manual effort/process, via implementation of system (eg. Concur) or process automation (eg. Power Automate)
    3) to address concerns raised over Operational risks in the RCSA exercise; and insufficient segregation of duties raised in 2023 Internal Audit report

Preferred skills
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of streamlining operations and driving efficiency.
  • Ability to spot inefficiencies in processes and follow through to implement innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial systems and software is essential. Hands-on experience with SAP Hana, Concur will be highly valued.
  • Good soft skills and a strong belief in working and progressing as a team.
  • Close and frequent communication within the Finance team, SG branch, RO, Corp, SLGS, external vendor where required, due to the nature of this role with key focus on process improvement and project implementation.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the finance department, with at least 3 years in managing payment processes and procurement is a must.

Responsibilities
  • 1) manage the Ariba source-to-pay implementation to fulfill B-10 requirements. Currently there is no procurement &TPRM personnel in SG, especially when the procurement function is expected to take on the role of the first line of defence of risk for the BU, hence this isn't merely an administrative role

    2) manage the implementation of Finance-related systems, payment workflow/processes (eg. Concur, Kyriba)

    3) support other areas (eg. accounts reconciliation, reporting, etc) within the Finance function to resolve bottlenecks faced by the team due to increasing business demand/volume

    4) gain sufficient understanding of the payment/treasury workflows and requirements to brainstorm possibilities of process streamlining, automation and cutting back on manual effort
