Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant role available in Brendale on Brisbane's Northside Your new company
This growing global business that operates in a niche sector is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will be based in their offices which are located in Brendale which offers plenty of onsite car parking.

Your new role
Supporting the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, preparing payment runs, assisting with month-end including general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting and assisting the Financial Controller as required.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful will have extensive experience with month-end accounting and will be working towards your CPA or CA qualification. You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. To be considered for this role, you will need to be available to commence within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, this role will not suit a recent graduate without any experience.
